Security Operations Manager Job Description
Job Summary:
The Security Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the security operations of an organization. This role involves developing and implementing security policies, managing a team of security personnel, ensuring compliance with regulations, and responding to security threats. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of security best practices, and the ability to handle crisis situations effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Security Strategy & Policy Implementation
Suggest and enforce security policies, procedures, and protocols.
Ensure compliance with local, national, and industry-specific security regulations.
Conduct risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement mitigation strategies.
2. Operations Management
Supervise and manage the daily operations of the security team.
Oversee access control, surveillance systems, and security technologies.
Ensure the security of personnel, manage assets, and facilities.
3. Incident Response & Crisis Management
Make Lead response efforts during security incidents, including cyber threats, physical intrusions, and emergencies.
Investigate security breaches and recommend corrective actions.
Coordinate with law enforcement, emergency services, and internal departments when necessary.
4. Team Leadership & Training
Recruit, train, and manage security personnel.
Conduct regular security training and awareness programs for employees.
Monitor and evaluate team performance, ensuring adherence to security standards.
5. Compliance & Reporting
Maintain records of security incidents and prepare reports for management.
Ensure adherence to data protection and privacy regulations.
Conduct regular security audits and inspections.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in any stream.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in security management, law enforcement, or a similar role.
Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., CPP, CISSP, CISM) are a plus.
Location: Between Borivali to Dadar or Dadar to Ghatkopar
Salary Offered: 35k to 50K
