We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching English language and literature to students, helping them improve their reading, writing, and speaking skills, and fostering a love for the subject. The English Teacher will create engaging lesson plans, provide constructive feedback, and encourage student development through both classroom instruction and extra-curricular activities.
Plan and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the curriculum for students of various age groups and proficiency levels.
Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to improve students’ understanding of English grammar, literature, and writing.
Evaluate and assess students’ progress through assignments, tests, projects, and class participation.
Provide constructive feedback to students to promote improvement and a positive learning experience.
Encourage student engagement through discussions, debates, and interactive activities.
Prepare students for standardized tests (if applicable) and provide individualized support as needed.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, responsibility, and learning.
Collaborate with colleagues to create cross-curricular projects and contribute to the school’s academic objectives.
Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and school events.
Maintain accurate records of students’ academic performance and report to parents when required.
Stay updated with the latest teaching methods and trends in English education.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Education, or a related field (teaching certification may be required depending on location).
Proven experience teaching English at the [primary/secondary/high school] level (minimum of [X] years preferred).
Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken.
