1. Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Car Technician to lead and execute complex vehicle repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics.

This role requires a deep understanding of automotive systems, including engine, clutch, suspension, electrical, and braking systems.

The Senior Car Technician will supervise junior technicians, ensure adherence to quality standards, and play a key role in achieving customer satisfaction.

2. Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair complex issues in engine, clutch, suspension, brake, electrical, and other critical vehicle systems.
Lead and mentor junior and associate technicians, providing technical guidance and support.
Conduct advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for recurring and complex issues.
Ensure that all work is completed in line with manufacturer standards and company quality protocols.
Perform quality checks and final inspections before the vehicle is delivered to the customer.
Collaborate with Service Advisors and the Service Manager to provide clear and accurate updates to customers.
Ensure that repair tasks are completed within designated timeframes to achieve on-time delivery.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
Support warranty claims by ensuring proper documentation of repair activities and compliance with warranty standards.
Stay up-to-date with advancements in vehicle technology and participate in training programs to enhance technical skills.
3. Required Skills and Qualifications
Education:
Diploma/ITI in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a senior technician or a similar role in an automotive service center.
Technical Skills:
Expertise in diagnosing and repairing engine, clutch, suspension, electrical, and braking systems.
Ability to use advanced diagnostic tools, equipment, and software for troubleshooting.
Familiarity with modern vehicle technologies, including hybrid and electric vehicle systems.
