Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and assembly diagrams
Perform fitting and assembling of mechanical parts for robotic modules
Use hand tools and power tools (like drilling machines, grinders, hammers, etc.) for assembly tasks
Fit and install motors, brackets, control panels, and robotic arm components
Perform alignment and testing of assembled parts and systems
Identify faulty parts and carry out necessary replacements or repairs
Collaborate with electrical, electronics, and soldering teams for integrated assembly
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Ensure quality control and follow safety standards during operations
Record assembly work, defects, and testing reports as per process documentation
Knowledge of mechanical fitting, machine assembly, and basic maintenance
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and assembly layouts
Proficient with hand and power tools like drills, grinders, spanners, torque wrenches
Basic understanding of motors, gearboxes, linear actuators, and control systems
Good communication and teamwork skills
Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines
ITI Fitter (Mechanical) or equivalent diploma
Or 1-3 years of mechanical assembly/fitting experience in manufacturing/automation sector
Freshers with ITI can also apply
Assembles robotic arms, frames, conveyor systems, and mechanical modules
Works on fitting and aligning precision mechanical components
Collaborates with robotics engineers and electrical teams during installations
Performs preventive maintenance of robotic systems and automation setups
Supports production and machine testing
