We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Admission Counsellor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding prospective students through the admissions process, providing information about academic programs, and assisting with enrollment procedures. This role requires excellent communication skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Student Guidance: Provide detailed information about programs, admission requirements, and career opportunities to prospective students and their families.
Admissions Process: Assist students with application forms, document submission, and ensure compliance with admission criteria.
Counselling Sessions: Conduct one-on-one and group counselling sessions to understand student aspirations and recommend suitable programs.
Data Management: Maintain accurate records of student interactions, applications, and admission status in the database.
Collaboration: Work closely with academic departments and administrative staff to streamline the admission process.
Follow-ups: Follow up with leads, applicants, and enrolled students to enhance conversion rates and ensure a smooth transition.
Event Participation: Represent the institution at educational fairs, school visits, webinars, and open house events.
Reporting: Prepare regular reports on admission trends, conversion rates, and feedback for continuous improvement.
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Proven experience in admissions, counselling, sales, or customer service roles.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with CRM systems is a plus.
