1. First Cut of Episodes & Lineup

Tasks:
Assist in assembling raw footage into a coherent first cut of episodes.
Sync audio, visuals, and transitions as per the director’s vision.
Collaborate with the editing team to refine pacing, continuity, and narrative flow.
Maintain organized project files (timelines, bins, proxies) for seamless revisions.
Prepare episode lineups for review by senior editors/producers.
2. Reels Editing

Tasks:
Create engaging, platform-specific reels from episode highlights.
Incorporate trending templates, transitions, and music.
Trim, color-correct, and optimize reels for Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts.
Work with the social media team to align reels with promotional calendars.
3. Uploading Videos/Shorts on YouTube

Tasks:
Upload finalized videos and shorts to YouTube, ensuring metadata accuracy (titles, descriptions, tags).
Schedule uploads as per the content calendar.
Monitor YouTube Studio for analytics (views, engagement, retention).
Ensure compliance with YouTube’s community guidelines and copyright policies.
4. Thumbnail Creation for Shorts

Tasks:
Design click-worthy thumbnails for YouTube Shorts using tools like Photoshop, Canva, or Premiere Pro.
Follow branding guidelines (fonts, colors, logos) for consistency.
A/B test thumbnail designs to improve CTR (Click-Through Rate).


Additional Responsibilities

Quality Control: Review exported files for technical errors (audio sync, resolution).
Asset Management: Organize and archive raw footage, project files, and final cuts.
Deadlines: Ensure timely delivery of edits for weekly episodes and daily shorts.
Trends: Stay updated on video editing trends, tools, and software updates.


Tools & Software

Editing: Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve.
Graphics: Photoshop, Canva, After Effects (basic).
Upload & Analytics: YouTube Studio, Social Blade.
