Roles & Responsibilities
1. Procurement & Vendor Management
• Identify purchasing needs for new product developments, including sourcing new vendors for labeling and packaging.
• Evaluate and on board reliable suppliers to meet quality and cost requirements.
2. Warehouse & Logistics Coordination
• Coordinate with the warehouse team for unloading and loading of import/export materials.
• Ensure smooth movement of goods within the warehouse and maintain proper documentation.
3. Import & Export Operations
• Coordinate with freight forwarders and clearance agents for import/export shipments.
• Ensure timely customs clearance.
4. Documentation & Compliance
• Maintain accurate records of import/export shipping bills, invoices, and packing lists.
• Handle DGFT-related tasks such as IEC renewal, RCMC renewal, and COO (Certificate of Origin) updation.
5. Certifications & Renewals
• Oversee all required certifications' renewal and application process to ensure compliance.
6. Outsourcing & Government Liaison
• Oversee outside work for the team to improve efficiency.
• Outside work of department-related government works, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
