Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified and passionate Mathematics Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong subject knowledge and a flair for teaching mathematical concepts in a clear and engaging way. You will be responsible for planning lessons, assessing student progress, and fostering analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality math instruction aligned with the prescribed curriculum

• Create detailed lesson plans and engaging classroom activities

• Use a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles

• Design and administer assessments to evaluate student understanding

• Provide extra support and intervention for students needing additional help

• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and academic progress

• Encourage logical reasoning, critical thinking, and mathematical curiosity

• Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher interactions, and school events

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics or a related field

• B.Ed. or teaching certification (if applicable)

• Previous teaching experience in a similar role preferred

• Strong command of mathematics across various topics (algebra, geometry, calculus, etc.)

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to manage a classroom effectively and create a positive learning environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with [CBSE / ICSE / IB / Cambridge / State Board – specify as needed] curriculum

• Familiarity with digital learning platforms or online teaching tools

• Ability to coach students for competitive exams or Olympiads (optional)
