Job Summary:
We are looking for a passionate and energetic Physical Education (PE) Teacher to promote physical fitness, sportsmanship, and healthy lifestyles among students. The ideal candidate should be able to develop and implement engaging physical activities, train students in various sports, and instill teamwork, discipline, and leadership qualities.

The PE teacher will be responsible for organizing sports programs, fitness assessments, and inter-school competitions while ensuring student safety and participation.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Curriculum Planning & Physical Fitness Training:
Develop and implement a structured PE curriculum based on school guidelines (CBSE/ICSE/IB/State Board).
Teach fundamental movement skills, team sports, fitness exercises, and recreational activities.
Conduct warm-ups, stretching exercises, and cool-down routines before and after physical activities.
Promote age-appropriate exercises to improve students' endurance, strength, and coordination.
2. Sports Coaching & Student Engagement:
Train students in various indoor and outdoor sports (e.g., football, basketball, volleyball, cricket, badminton, athletics).
Encourage participation in intra-school and inter-school sports competitions.
Identify talented athletes and provide specialized training for school teams.
Teach sportsmanship, teamwork, and discipline through physical activities.
3. Health & Wellness Education:
Educate students on nutrition, personal hygiene, and overall well-being.
Raise awareness about mental health, stress management, and the importance of exercise.
Organize yoga, aerobics, and mindfulness sessions to promote holistic development.
4. Student Assessment & Progress Monitoring:
Assess students’ physical fitness levels through periodic evaluations and fitness tests.
Maintain records of student performance, participation, and skill development.
Provide individualized fitness plans for students needing extra support.
5. Event Organization & Sports Programs:
Plan and coordinate annual sports days, tournaments, and physical fitness challenges.
Organize inter-house competitions and encourage student participation.
Collaborate with school authorities to introduce new sports programs and activities.
6. Safety & Injury Prevention:
Ensure proper use of sports equipment and maintain a safe environment.
Provide first aid and emergency care in case of injuries.
Implement safety protocols and supervise students to prevent accidents.
7. Collaboration & Professional Development:
Work closely with teachers, coaches, and school staff to integrate physical activities into the academic schedule.
Attend training workshops, certifications, and professional development programs.
Stay updated on modern coaching techniques, fitness trends, and sports regulations.
