Job Description – Head Teacher

Position: Head Teacher
Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month

Job Location: Pachpakhadi, Thane

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Teacher to lead our school, ensuring a nurturing and high-quality learning environment for children. The ideal candidate will oversee school operations, manage teachers, and ensure the overall development and well-being of students.

Key Responsibilities:

Academic Leadership & School Administration:

• Develop and implement the school’s curriculum and teaching strategies.

• Monitor and evaluate teaching methods, ensuring high educational standards.

• Organize staff meetings, training sessions, and workshops to enhance teacher performance.

• Ensure compliance with educational policies and regulatory guidelines.

Teacher & Staff Management:

• Supervise and support teachers in lesson planning and classroom management.

• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.

• Manage teacher schedules, assignments, and professional development.

• Foster a positive and cooperative work environment among staff.

Child Care & Student Development:

• Oversee the well-being and safety of all students within the school premises.

• Ensure a child-friendly environment that promotes learning and personal growth.

• Address student behavioral issues and implement discipline policies when required.

• Work closely with parents to keep them informed about their child’s progress.

Operational & Administrative Duties:

• Maintain attendance records of students and staff.

• Handle school finances, budget planning, and resource allocation.

• Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of school premises.

• Organize events, extracurricular activities, and parent-teacher meetings.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education (B.Ed/M.Ed) or a related field.

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in teaching and school management.

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Passion for child development and early education.

• Ability to multitask and manage school operations efficiently.
