Job Description: - The Behavioral Therapist will provide clinical skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols based upon the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to children with Autism and related developmental disabilities in clinical and community settings. The Behavioral Technician will collect program data, assist with parent training, and assist the Behavior Analyst and pediatric Neurologist with clinical assessments as needed. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment training arrangements.
Follow the prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols. Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.
Assist with parent and caregiver training per the client’s individualized treatment and behavior reduction protocols. Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers regarding the client's progress
Utilize safe & appropriate handling procedures when working with clients. Maintain client confidentiality.
Assist Lead Behavioral technicians, Behavior Analysts, and Pediatric Neurologists in preparing client materials as instructed. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment.
Collaborate with the treatment team including clients, parents, caregivers, and outside professionals Maintain and acquire technical knowledge by attending required training.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: - Ability to accept constructive feedback and develop knowledge and skill sets accordingly. Effective time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at one time.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with basic computer/MS office skills.
Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, and co-workers. Designation: - Behavioral Therapist QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor of Education (B.ed), Diploma in Education (D.ed) Bachelor in Arts / Master in Arts or special child care education (ECCD) can also apply. Shift Timings & Salary for Bachelors: 7.5 hours working 14,000rs + Performance Bonus 5 hours working 9,000rs+ Performance Bonus Masters in psychology: 7.5 hours 16,000rs / 5 hours working 10,000rs+ Performance Bonus ABA – Free Applied Behavioral Analysis training of 15 days. Training will be offline. NOTE:(If you perform well for 3-4 months, you will be promoted as a senior therapist or supervisor with a 30%increase.)
