Job Overview:
We are looking for a Service & Support Engineer to handle the installation, commissioning, and execution of our Home Automation and Building Management Solutions (BMS) products. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in smart home technology, electrical systems, and automation solutions, ensuring seamless deployment and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Installation & Commissioning:
• Install and configure Zigbee Smart Touch Switches, Sensors, and BMS systems at residential and commercial sites.
• Ensure proper wiring, connectivity, and integration with existing electrical and automation systems.
• Conduct testing and validation post-installation.
• Technical Support & Troubleshooting:
• Provide on-site and remote support to resolve installation and operational issues.
• Diagnose and rectify hardware, firmware, and connectivity issues.
• Work closely with R&D and product teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
• Project Execution & Coordination:
• Plan and execute product deployment at customer locations.
• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and clients for smooth execution.
• Ensure timely completion of installation and proper documentation.
• Customer Training & Support:
• Educate end-users on product functionality and usage.
• Conduct training sessions for customers and partners on smart automation solutions.
Address customer concerns and ensure satisfaction post-installation.
• Quality & Compliance:
• Ensure installations meet safety and industry standards.
• Maintain and follow installation SOPs and company guidelines.
• Provide feedback for product improvements based on field experiences.
Skills & Qualifications:
• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.
• 2-5 years of experience in home automation, BMS, IoT, or electrical installation.
• Strong knowledge of smart switches, sensors, Zigbee protocol, and networking.
• Experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Proficiency in using testing tools, meters, and automation controllers.
• Good communication skills for customer interactions and training.
• Willingness to travel for on-site installations and support.
Preferred Experience (Good to Have):
• Hands-on experience with Zigbee, Wi-Fi, and other wireless protocols.
• Knowledge of BMS software platforms and integration.
• Experience in working with Alexa, Google Home, and Apple HomeKit.
• Understanding of electrical panels and safety regulations.
