Job role: Home Automation Technician
Location:Madhapur, Hyderabad
Experience:
1.5+ years of experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
2.Familiarity with smart home technologies and IoT device integration is preferred.
3.Strong understanding of electrical wiring, circuits, and control systems.
4.Experience with low-voltage wiring for home automation devices.
5.Knowledge of communication protocols like Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, and Ethernet.
6.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
Job Description:
1.Install and connect electrical wiring, outlets, switches, and panels to support home automation devices.
2.Set up and integrate smart home devices such as lighting controls, thermostats, security systems, motorized shades, and AV systems.
3.Install and configure hubs, sensors, and wireless networks to enable device communication
4.Diagnose and repair issues with both traditional electrical systems and smart home devices
5.Perform regular maintenance and firmware updates on home automation systems.
6.Assist in programming devices to work seamlessly through central control systems or apps
7.Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely support for system malfunctions.
Qualifications:
1.ITI/Diploma in electrical engineering
2.Strong knowledge of home automation technologies, protocols, and standards.
3.Additional training or certifications in home automation systems (e.g., Control4, Crestron, Lutron, or KNX) are highly desirable.
4.Licensed Electrician certification, if any
