Lift/Elevator Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Lift/Elevator Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair various types of lifts and elevator systems. The technician will ensure safety, compliance with local and international standards, and optimal operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair elevators, lifts, dumbwaiters, and escalators.

• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance routines.

• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults.

• Replace or repair defective parts such as motors, relays, control panels, or wiring.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory guidelines.

• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

• Respond promptly to breakdown calls and emergencies.

• Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.

• Keep up-to-date with new elevator technologies and safety procedures.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma/ITI in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics Engineering.

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in elevator/lift installation and servicing.

• Strong understanding of electrical circuits, control systems, and mechanical components.

• Ability to read technical diagrams and manuals.

• Familiarity with local safety codes and elevator standards

• Physically fit with no fear of heights or confined spaces.

• Valid driver’s license
