Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Lift Installation and Commissioning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising, inspecting, and completing the installation and commissioning of various types of lifts. This role requires expertise in reading and interpreting diagrams, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and preparing detailed commissioning reports.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Read and Interpret Diagrams:
o Accurately read and understand installation and wiring diagrams for lifts.
2. Supervise Installation:
o Oversee the installation of lifts in accordance with General Arrangement Drawings (GAD).
3. Stage-wise Inspection:
o Conduct thorough inspections at various stages of installation to ensure adherence to GAD and quality standards.
4. Complete Wiring:
o Perform all wiring tasks as per the provided wiring diagrams, ensuring correctness and safety.
5. Adjust and Install Sensors and Switches:
o Install and adjust all sensors and switches according to the wiring diagrams and system requirements.
6. Safety Compliance:
o Follow all safety procedures and protocols diligently while working on-site.
7. PPE Usage:
o Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at the site to ensure personal safety and compliance with safety regulations.
8. Prepare Commissioning Report:
o Prepare and submit a comprehensive final commissioning report upon completion of the lift installation, detailing all aspects of the commissioning process.
9. Pre-inspection and Snag List Preparation:
o Conduct pre-inspections of the installed lifts, prepare a snag list identifying any issues related to installation, wiring, and commissioning.
Education and Experience:
• Relevant technical certification or degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 1- 2 years of experience in a similar role, with hands-on experience in lift systems.
