What is the role?
We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Junior Sales Executive to join our growing team at
Quicklend. The ideal candidate will help promote and sell our innovative loan against mutual
funds product. This role requires a proactive individual with a customer-centric mindset and the
ability to build strong client relationships. Prior experience in BFSI sales is a plus.
What are the expectations?
● Identify potential clients through market research, cold calls, and networking. The job
predominantly entails telesales/telemarketing and hence the expectation is to have the
ability to speak fluently in certain languages to speak to mutual fund distributors.
● Promote and sell Quicklend’s loan products to individual and corporate clients.
● Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of
customer satisfaction.
● Meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to the overall revenue growth of the
company.
● Provide product information, answer client inquiries, and assist in the loan application
process.
● Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to ensure smooth operations and
support for clients.
● Attend sales meetings, training sessions, and industry events as needed.
● Prepare sales reports, track performance, and provide feedback to senior management.
● Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor products, and regulatory changes in the
BFSI sector.
Qualifications we look for
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
2. 0-2 years of sales experience, preferably in the BFSI sector.
3. Familiarity with financial products such as loans, mutual funds, and insurance and a
good idea on secured lending and how NBFCs operate
4. Strong communication and negotiation skills.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle rejection.
6. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
7. First language proficiency in one of Gujarati, Marathi, Kannada, Telugu or Tamil to be
able to connect with the prospective clients.
Process of the interview
1. Introductory call.
2. Previous experience, your learnings and working style. BFSI domain knowledge.
3. Culture fit. Your take on the market. Converting prospects into seals. Understanding of
sales channels.
What does a day look like in this role?
● Working with the sales lead on the pipeline for the day
● Speaking to potential MFD partners, improvise on the script depending on the native
language of the MFD
● Explain MFDs about the payout structure in absolute clarity and educate them on the
potential script at their end for their clients. Essentially encourage MFDs to stop their
clients from redeeming MFs and instead take a loan
● The focus is mostly on telesales so a day would typically end with one taking MFD
preference on time of call and follow ups
● Remember, the variable structure is based on loans taken. Hence MFD is not just a
client but you partner. In this sense, this is as much sales as it is relationship building.
