Job Description
- Use different video editing software to edit videos from scratch
- Prepare rough and final cuts
- Create and edit videos for various digital campaigns
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit and assemble recorded raw footage into polished videos for various platforms (YouTube, social media, websites, ads, etc.)
- Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
- Add music, dialogues, graphics, and effects to enhance the final output
- Ensure logical sequencing and smooth transitions
- Collaborate with the creative and marketing team to understand project goals
- Stay updated with industry trends and techniques to continually improve editing quality
Requirements:
- 2+ years of proven work experience as a Video Editor
- Proficiency with editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar
- Solid understanding of timing, pacing, color grading, and sound design
- Strong storytelling ability and attention to visual details
- Knowledge of different video formats, codecs, and exporting for various platforms
- Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality work
- A creative mindset with a keen eye for aesthetics and visual details
