Captains are senior-level service staff who oversee the dining experience and supervise stewards. Their key responsibilities include:

- ️ ••Guest Service Management:••
Ensure guests are greeted warmly, seated properly, and served efficiently. Handle special requests and complaints professionally.

- ••Team Supervision:••
Supervise and guide stewards and waitstaff. Allocate sections and ensure smooth coordination during service.

- ••Order Management:••
Take food & beverage orders accurately, relay them to the kitchen/bar, and ensure timely delivery to tables.

- ••Billing & Payment Handling:••
Ensure bills are accurate, present them to guests, and process payments securely.

- ••Service Quality Assurance:••
Maintain hotel service standards, check table setups, cleanliness, and overall ambiance.

- ••Training & Briefing:••
Brief staff on daily specials, menu changes, and customer feedback. Help train new stewards.

Stewards are frontline service staff who provide direct service to guests in the restaurant or room service.

Greet guests politely and guide them to their tables.

- ••Menu Knowledge & Order Taking:••
Present menus, explain dishes when needed, and take orders accurately.

- ••Serving Food & Beverages:••
Serve dishes and drinks promptly and professionally, ensuring proper etiquette.

- ••Table Setting & Cleaning:••
Set tables before service and clean them after. Keep the dining area tidy and organized.

- ••Customer Interaction:••
Ensure guest satisfaction during meals, refill water, respond to additional requests.

- ••Side Duties:••
Refill condiments, polish cutlery, fold napkins, and support the kitchen as needed.
