Dispatch Executive

• Scheduling and Dispatching:

  • Creating and managing schedules for drivers, vehicles, or equipment.

  • Assigning tasks and routes based on customer orders, delivery schedules, and other relevant factors.

  • Communicating instructions and updates to drivers and other relevant personnel.

  • Monitoring the status of deliveries or services and addressing any issues that arise.

• Communication and Coordination:

  • Communicating with customers, drivers, and other internal teams to ensure smooth operations.

  • Responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues.

  • Liaising with external stakeholders, such as suppliers or other logistics providers.

• Record Keeping and Documentation:

  • Maintaining accurate records of dispatch activities, shipments, and other relevant information.

  • Preparing shipping documents, such as invoices and packing lists.

  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and procedures.

• Problem Solving and Decision Making:

  • Identifying and resolving logistical problems, such as traffic delays or vehicle breakdowns.

  • Making decisions quickly and effectively to ensure timely and efficient delivery or service.

• Other Duties:

  • Assisting with inventory management.

  • Providing support to other staff members.

  • Participating in training and development activities.
