Factory Supervisor

Production Planning & Execution

· Supervise daily production activities and ensure adherence to planned schedules.

· Coordinate with production managers, quality teams, and maintenance teams for seamless operations.

· Monitor raw material availability, machine efficiency, and workforce allocation to meet production goals.

2. Team Supervision & Workforce Management

· Lead, train, and mentor production workers, ensuring high productivity and motivation.

· Assign tasks to operators and technicians based on skill level and work demand.

· Monitor shift operations and ensure optimal workforce utilization.

3. Quality Assurance & Process Improvement

· Ensure adherence to product quality standards and resolve production defects.

· Identify process inefficiencies and suggest improvements for enhanced productivity.

· Implement 5S, Lean, or Kaizen practices to drive continuous improvement in production.

4. Equipment & Safety Compliance

· Ensure proper functioning of machines, tools, and production equipment.

· Coordinate with the maintenance team for preventive and breakdown maintenance.

· Enforce safety protocols and ensure workers adhere to EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) regulations.

5. Reporting & Documentation

· Maintain production reports, downtime records, and shift logs.

· Monitor inventory levels and request replenishments as needed.

· Assist in audits and ensure all compliance documentation is up to date.

Key Requirements:

Education & Experience:

· Diploma / Bachelor’s degree

· 5 years of experience in production supervision in a manufacturing environment.

Skills & Competencies:

· Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety regulations.

· Ability to analyze production data, troubleshoot issues, and improve efficiency.

· Leadership skills to manage a team of operators and technicians.

· Working knowledge of ERP/SAP, MS Office, and production planning tools.

· Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen principles (preferred).
