Job Title: Driver Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Driver Manager to oversee and coordinate the
activities of our driver workforce. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient scheduling,
compliance with safety regulations, and exceptional service delivery while fostering a
productive and positive working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
 Manage and supervise a team of drivers, ensuring optimal performance and
productivity.
 Schedule and assign drivers to routes and deliveries based on operational needs.
 Monitor driver compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and legal
requirements.
 Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching or training as needed.
 Address driver concerns, grievances, and conflicts promptly and professionally.
 Maintain and monitor vehicle maintenance schedules to ensure fleet readiness.
 Analyze operational data and provide reports to improve efficiency and cost-
effectiveness.
 Collaborate with other departments to streamline delivery operations and address
customer needs.
 Handle incident reports, including accidents or delivery delays, and implement
corrective actions.
Requirements:
 Proven experience in transportation, logistics, or driver management.
 Strong leadership and team management skills.
 Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
 Familiarity with route planning, fleet management, and scheduling software.
 Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.
 Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
 Proficiency in MS Office or other relevant software tools.
 Bachelor’s degree in logistics, management, or a related field (preferred).
