The Fleet Manager will be responsible for acquiring and managing fleet owners, ensuring smooth operations, and driving sales growth for our car rental business. This role requires expertise in fleet acquisition, vendor management, sales strategy, and operational execution.
✅ Fleet Onboarding & Vendor Management:
Identify and onboard fleet owners, car rental agencies, and individual car owners to expand our vehicle inventory.
Build long-term partnerships with fleet vendors to ensure steady supply and service quality.
Negotiate competitive rates, contracts, and service agreements with fleet partners.
✅ Operations & Service Management:
Oversee day-to-day operations of the car rental business in Mumbai.
Ensure seamless vehicle allocation, availability, and turnaround time for customers.
Monitor fleet performance, maintenance schedules, and service quality.
✅ Sales & Business Growth:
Develop and implement sales strategies to drive bookings and maximize fleet utilization.
Target corporate clients, travel agencies, and individual customers for business expansion.
Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional campaigns and B2B partnerships.
✅ Customer Experience & Compliance:
Ensure high-quality customer service and prompt resolution of complaints.
Maintain legal and compliance standards for fleet operations, including vehicle insurance and documentation.
Implement safety protocols and operational guidelines for drivers and vehicles.
✔ 10 years of experience in fleet management, car rental, or transport operations.
✔ Strong network in the automobile rental industry.
✔ Proven experience in vendor onboarding, contract negotiation, and operations management.
✔ Strong sales and business development skills.
✔ Ability to lead operations, manage multiple stakeholders, and drive profitability.
✔ Proficiency in CRM tools, fleet management software, and MS Office.
✔ Willingness to travel locally for business expansion.
