Roles and Responsibilities:
Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring, for freight broker positions.
Develop effective strategies to attract qualified candidates through various channels, such as job portals, social media, and employee referrals.
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing requirements and create job descriptions accordingly.
Conduct initial screenings to assess candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural fit for the organization.
Maintain a robust candidate pipeline for ongoing and future talent needs in the freight broker domain.
Handle offer negotiations, onboarding processes, and orientation for new hires.
Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and industry regulations throughout the hiring process.
Prepare and maintain recruitment-related reports for management review.
Key Skills and Competencies:
Proficiency in sourcing, screening, and recruiting techniques, specifically within the freight brokerage or logistics sector.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with candidates and team members.
Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR tools.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple roles simultaneously.
Basic understanding of freight broker operations and industry terminology (preferred).
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, night-shift environment.
