Key Responsibilities:

Document Preparation:

Prepare and verify import documentation, including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and other required documents.

Customs Compliance:

Ensure proper documentation and adherence to customs requirements, addressing any issues that arise during the import process.

Coordination:

Liaise with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and shipping companies to ensure seamless import procedures.

Shipment Tracking:

Monitor the movement of goods and provide status updates, including tracking international shipments and managing delays.

Record Maintenance:

Maintain accurate documentation records for auditing purposes and resolve any discrepancies as needed.

Regulation Adherence:

Stay updated on international trade regulations, tariffs, and customs policies to ensure compliance and minimize the risk of delays or fines.

Problem Solving:

Address and resolve issues that may arise during the import process, such as documentation discrepancies or shipment delays.

Skills and Qualifications:

•Experience in import documentation or a related field.

•Knowledge of international shipping regulations, customs requirements, and trade compliance.

•Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

•Familiarity with ERP systems and other documentation software.
