Role Description: -
The Senior Executive Exports Customer Service will be responsible for managing and overseeing the export operations, ensuring seamless coordination and communication between clients, internal teams, and external partners. This role demands strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Management:
Act as the primary point of contact for export clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring their satisfaction.
Provide clients with regular updates on shipment status, documentation, and any potential delays.
Operational Efficiency:
Coordinate and manage all aspects of the export process and ensuring timely delivery.
Prepare and verify export documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists.
Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.
Team Coordination:
Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales, operations, and finance, to ensure smooth execution of export activities.
Provide guidance and support to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Problem Solving:
Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to export shipments, working proactively to prevent future occurrences.
Manage and mitigate risks associated with export logistics, including customs clearance and transportation challenges.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in export customer service within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
• In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations, export documentation, and customs procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and problem-solving attitude.
