We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Logistics Supervisor to oversee transportation operations, ensuring timely placement of vehicles, smooth coordination of deliveries, and effective communication between teams. The ideal candidate will manage all logistics processes, including vehicle dispatch, document handling, and on-time deliveries to customers, while ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with company policies.Key Responsibilities:Vehicle Management: Arrange and allocate vehicles for transportation as per business requirements. Ensure proper utilization of vehicles to optimize costs and efficiency. Monitor vehicle movement to ensure timely deliveries. Transportation Coordination: Plan and execute transportation schedules to meet customer delivery timelines. Communicate with transport providers and drivers to ensure smooth execution of trips.Address and resolve any transportation-related issues or delays.Document Handling:Prepare and share necessary transport documents, including invoices, delivery notes, and permits.Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with legal requirements.Maintain a proper record of shipments, vehicle logs, and delivery confirmations.Team Coordination & Communication:Act as a bridge between logistics, sales, and warehouse teams for seamless delivery operations.Provide regular updates to the internal team on delivery status and any potential issues.Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure timely dispatch of goods.Customer Delivery & Satisfaction:Ensure on-time deliveries to customers with proper documentation and product handling.Address customer concerns related to deliveries and provide resolutions.Maintain strong relationships with customers to enhance service reliability.Compliance & Safety:Ensure all transportation activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.Oversee vehicle maintenance schedules to prevent breakdowns and delivery disruptions.Implement safety measures to minimize risks during transportation.
