Job Title: Senior Purchase Coordinator

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Purchase Coordinator to manage and oversee the entire Purchase and Operations Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for procurement planning, vendor coordination, negotiation, and ensuring smooth supply chain operations. This role demands excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills to optimize purchasing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Procurement & Purchasing:
Oversee and manage the company's entire procurement process.
Develop and implement purchasing strategies to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement.
Evaluate and select vendors based on quality, price, and service.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors and suppliers.
Monitor stock levels and place orders as required.
2. Vendor & Supplier Management:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and new vendors.
Conduct regular vendor assessments to ensure compliance with company standards.
Address and resolve any vendor-related issues, including delays, discrepancies, or quality concerns.
Identify alternative suppliers to reduce risk and enhance procurement options.
3. Operations & Coordination:
Work closely with internal departments (finance, production, logistics) to ensure smooth operations.
Ensure proper documentation of purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements.
Monitor the entire supply chain to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Coordinate with warehouse teams for inventory management.
4. Cost & Budget Management:
Develop and maintain budgets for purchasing activities.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to reduce procurement expenses.
Track purchasing trends and analyze spending patterns.
5. Compliance & Reporting:
Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.
Prepare reports on procurement performance, cost analysis, and vendor evaluations.
Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, supplier agreements, and pricing history.
Key Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
Skills:
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
Ability to analyze data and make informed purchasing decisions.
