Quality Assurance:
Develop, implement, and monitor quality control systems to ensure compliance with internal standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements (FSSAI, FDA, ISO, HACCP, GMP, etc.).
Process Management:
Oversee day-to-day QC operations, including raw material inspection, in-process checks, and finished goods testing.
Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QC analysts, technicians, and inspectors. Provide training and ensure team performance aligns with company goals.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate documentation and records for quality audits. Generate QC reports, analyze trends, and report deviations and corrective actions.
Cross-Functional Coordination:
Work closely with Production, R&D, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams to maintain product quality and resolve quality issues.
Audit & Compliance:
Coordinate and facilitate internal and external quality audits. Ensure compliance with regulatory authorities and industry standards.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify areas for improvement in QC systems and processes. Drive initiatives to improve product quality, reduce waste, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field.
7–10 years of experience in quality control/quality assurance, preferably in the FMCG sector.
