Role Overview

The Quality Inspector at Geetanjali Woodcraft Pvt. Ltd. plays a crucial role in ensuring that all modular frames, post-formed frames, and doors meet the highest quality standards set by the company and its clients. This position involves performing thorough visual and dimensional inspections throughout the production process, identifying any defects or non-conformities, and working closely with production and engineering teams to maintain product consistency and drive continuous improvement. The Quality Inspector acts as the gatekeeper of quality, helping to uphold the company’s reputation for precision, craftsmanship, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect modular frames, post-formed frames, and doors during in-process and final inspection stages.

• Evaluate key quality parameters including measurements, surface finish, lamination integrity, alignment, squareness, and edge banding.

• Verify product compliance with design drawings, technical specifications, and customer quality requirements.

• Accurately document inspection results and maintain traceable records of all findings.

• Identify, classify, and report defects such as cracks, warping, improper bonding, or surface inconsistencies.

Ensure proper identification and segregation of accepted and rejected parts through labeling and traceability protocols.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma preferred.

• 6 to 12 months of relevant experience in quality control, ideally within the woodwork, modular furniture, or door manufacturing industries.

• Familiarity with standard measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and squares.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
