Station Associate

A Warehouse Executive is responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient warehouse operations. The job involves various tasks related to the management and movement of goods, including:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Loading and Unloading:

   • Supervise or assist in the loading and unloading of goods from delivery trucks, containers, or other transportation.

   • Ensure proper handling of goods to prevent damage during the loading and unloading process.

2. Scanning:

   • Use barcode scanners or other electronic devices to track inventory items.

   • Ensure accurate scanning of incoming and outgoing goods for proper record-keeping.

   • Maintain and update digital or manual inventory records.

3. Sorting:

   • Organize goods by category, size, or destination to ensure efficient storage and easy retrieval.

   • Ensure products are sorted according to warehouse procedures to streamline picking and packing processes.

4. Inventory Management:

   • Assist in stocktaking and inventory audits.

   • Monitor stock levels and ensure timely reporting of discrepancies or low stock.

   • Maintain accurate records of inventory movements.

5. Safety and Compliance:

   • Follow safety guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with safety standards.

   • Ensure warehouse operations comply with relevant regulations (e.g., health and safety, environmental).

6. Coordination:

   • Work closely with other warehouse staff and departments (e.g., logistics, distribution) to ensure smooth operations.
