• Compliance: Ensuring that all vehicles, equipment, and staff meet government and industry regulations.

• Safety: Improving safety procedures and ensuring the safety of all operations.

• Maintenance: Maintaining vehicles in good condition and managing repair schedules.

• Scheduling: Scheduling drivers and assigning delivery routes.

• Records: Maintaining records of vehicle use and maintenance, and processing trip logs.

• Problem-solving : Transport supervisors need to have strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Communication : Transport supervisors need to be able to communicate with colleagues and stakeholders to share ideas and directives.

• Hiring: Assisting with the hiring process for new drivers.

• Costs: Monitoring transportation costs and optimizing budgets.

• Training: Conducting regular staff training.

• Customer service: Acting as an interface between vehicle operations and customers.

• Adaptability : Transport supervisors may need to be able to work under pressure and adapt to changing scenarios.
