Job Responsibility
The Storekeeper is responsible for managing inventory, receiving and issuing goods, and keeping the store or warehouse organized and stocked.
· Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods, ensuring accuracy and quality.
· Track and maintain inventory levels, updating records as necessary.
· Issue stock to relevant departments or customers in a timely manner.
· Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with audits.
· Ensure the storage area is clean, organized, and safe.
· Report low stock levels and reorder items as needed.
· Assist with stock rotation to prevent product expiry or damage.
· Maintain security of stored goods and report any discrepancies.
· Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth inventory flow.
