Job Summary:

The Warehouse Incharge will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, including inventory management, goods receipt, dispatch, and maintaining orderliness. Candidates should have experience in managing garments, fabrics, and trims, ideally in the textile or apparel industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing stock.

• Monitor inventory levels for raw materials (fabric, trims, accessories) and finished goods.

• Conduct regular stock audits and physical verification.

Receiving & Dispatch

• Manage the receiving process – quality and quantity checks of goods received.

• Coordinate the dispatch of finished products as per production or customer schedules.

• Ensure timely documentation for GRNs (Goods Receipt Notes), dispatch challans, and invoices.

Warehouse Organization

• Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of storage areas.

• Implement proper stacking and labeling systems for easy identification.

• Ensure FIFO (First In First Out) method is followed.

Coordination

• Work closely with the production and merchandising teams for material planning and issue management.

• Coordinate with vendors for delivery follow-ups and resolve any discrepancies in deliveries.

Reporting

• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and dispatch reports.

• Report any shortages, damages, or delays in the supply chain to management.

Compliance & Safety

• Follow safety procedures and ensure safe handling of materials.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and warehouse SOPs.

Candidate Profile:

• Experience: 6 months to 2 years in a warehouse or stores role in a textile or apparel company.

• Education: Diploma or Graduate in any stream. Candidates with logistics/warehouse-related certifications are preferred.
