Warehouse Incharge

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inventory Management:

• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks.

• Ensure timely stock replenishment and minimize discrepancies.

• Coordinate with procurement and sales teams to manage inventory levels.

2. Warehouse Operations:

• Oversee receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods.

• Ensure goods are stored properly to prevent damage or loss.

• Implement and follow FIFO (First-In-First-Out) or other inventory management methods.

3. Team Supervision & Coordination:

• Lead and supervise warehouse staff, assigning tasks and ensuring productivity.

• Train employees on warehouse procedures and safety protocols.

• Coordinate with transport and logistics teams for smooth dispatch.

4. Compliance & Safety:

• Ensure adherence to workplace safety regulations and warehouse SOPs.

• Conduct regular safety checks and maintain proper housekeeping.

• Implement security measures to prevent theft or damage.

5. Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain records of goods received, stored, and dispatched.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on stock and warehouse operations.

• Ensure proper documentation for audits and inspections.

6. Equipment & Maintenance:

• Oversee the maintenance of warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and conveyors.

• Report and coordinate repairs for damaged machinery or infrastructure.

7. Process Improvement:

• Identify and implement ways to optimize warehouse processes.

• Reduce costs and enhance efficiency through technology and automation where applicable.
