The Sampler is responsible for collecting, preparing, and managing samples for quality control, research, and analysis within the RCU department. This role ensures that samples are taken in accordance with established protocols and are representative of the materials or products being tested. The Sampler will work closely with research and quality assurance teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Sample Collection:
Collect representative samples from various materials/products, as per established sampling methods.
Ensure sample integrity by following proper handling, storage, and transportation procedures.
Documentation:
Accurately document sample information, including identification, collection date, and specific handling instructions.
Maintain sample logs and ensure traceability for future analysis or testing.
Preparation of Samples:
Prepare and portion samples as required for analysis or further research.
Label and store samples according to guidelines to prevent contamination or degradation.
Compliance:
Adhere to all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements regarding sampling processes.
Ensure that samples are collected in compliance with quality control and safety protocols.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the Research, Quality Control, and Analytical teams to ensure that collected samples meet testing and analysis requirements.
Maintenance of Sampling Equipment:
Ensure that sampling equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and cleaned to ensure accurate results.
Reporting and Feedback:
Report any issues or inconsistencies with samples to the appropriate team members or supervisors.
Assist in preparing reports related to sampling activities and results.
