A Data Entry Executive is responsible for preparing, gathering, and sorting documents for data entry. They verify and log data receipt and use keyboards, data recorders, or optical scanners to convert information from paper forms into computer files. They use word processing, spreadsheets, databases, or other computer applications to enter large amounts of data. A Data Entry Manager, on the other hand, is responsible for preparing, implementing, and enforcing departmental policies and procedures, conducting departmental audits, monitoring individual and team performance, and dictating production standards for quality, speed, and precision.
