Accountant

Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized MIS Executive / Data Entry Operator to manage and maintain our day-to-day billing, accounting entries, and reporting functions. The ideal candidate will have experience in data handling, preparing financial documentation, generating sales & purchase and working with Microsoft Excel. The role requires accuracy, efficiency, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate billing & invoicing .

• Record and verify sales and purchase entries in Tally software.

• Generate and process Credit Notes / Debit Notes .

• Prepare and generate E-Way Bills for material movement.

• Maintain up-to-date data in Microsoft Excel sheets, including reports and trackers.

• Perform regular data entry and data cleaning to ensure accuracy.

• Manage and organize email communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

• Coordinate with other departments for smooth flow of accounting-related tasks.

• Ensure timely backup and security of financial data.

• Assist in preparing reports as per the management's requirements (MIS Reports).

• Adhere to company policies and maintain confidentiality of records.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Formulas, VLOOKUP,HLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).

• Familiarity with billing & accounting software (Tally Prime).

• Good typing speed and accuracy in data entry.

• Basic knowledge of GST, credit/debit notes, and E-way bill generation.

• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.

• Good written and verbal communication for email handling.
