Accountant

• Tax Filing and Compliance:

  • Prepare and file accurate Income Tax Returns (ITR), Goods and Services Tax (GST) returns, and Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) returns in compliance with Indian tax laws.

  • Ensure timely submission of quarterly and annual tax filings, including advance tax payments.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in tax regulations and ensure the company’s compliance with the same.

  • Assist in tax audits and respond to notices from tax authorities as needed.

• PF and ESIC Management:

  • Manage end-to-end Provident Fund (PF) and Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) compliance for all employees.

  • Ensure timely registration, contribution, and remittance of PF and ESIC dues as per statutory deadlines.

  • File monthly PF and ESIC returns and maintain accurate records of contributions, withdrawals, and transfers.

  • Handle employee queries related to PF and ESIC benefits, including claims and settlements.

  • Coordinate with PF and ESIC authorities to resolve discrepancies or issues.

• Accounting and Record-Keeping:

  • Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and balance sheets, using accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar).

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management review.

  • Reconcile bank statements, vendor payments, and employee reimbursements.

  • Ensure proper documentation and filing of all financial transactions for audit purposes.
