Key Responsibilities:
1. Housekeeping Supervision:
o Oversee and manage the daily housekeeping duties for restaurant staff, ensuring high cleanliness standards are met throughout the facility.
o Supervise the cleaning and maintenance of dining rooms, restrooms, kitchen areas, and staff rooms.
o Inspect the premises to ensure cleanliness and tidiness at all times, ensuring that all areas are sanitary and presentable.
2. Team Leadership & Training:
o Lead, motivate, and train housekeeping staff, providing guidance on cleaning tasks, use of equipment, and safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
o Schedule and assign tasks to housekeeping staff according to restaurant needs and high-traffic times.
o Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to improve team efficiency and service standards.
3. Cleaning & Maintenance:
o Ensure all cleaning duties are performed according to the cleaning schedule, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing surfaces.
o Ensure high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in restrooms and staff areas.
o Manage the maintenance of cleaning equipment, ensuring it is in working order, and arrange for repairs when needed.
4. Inventory & Supply Management:
o Maintain inventory levels of cleaning products and supplies, placing orders as needed.
o Keep track of usage and ensure proper stock levels of cleaning materials, including chemicals, tools, and equipment.
5. Health & Safety Compliance:
o Ensure that all housekeeping activities comply with health and safety standards, local regulations, and company policies.
o Ensure that cleaning materials are handled and stored safely, and that staff are trained in emergency procedures related to cleaning chemicals and equipment.
6. Guest Experience:
o Ensure the restaurant presents a clean, pleasant, and welcoming environment for guests.
o Address any guest concerns related to cleanliness promptly and professionally.
7. Collaboration:
o Work closely with the restaurant management team to ensure all areas meet guest expectations and restaurant standards.
o Report any maintenance issues or repairs needed to the management team.
