Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Solar Sales Consultant to join our growing team in Melbourne. Your primary responsibility will be to connect with homeowners, assess their energy needs, and provide tailored solar solutions. A key part of your role will be to educate customers on Victorian and Federal solar rebates and incentives, helping them make informed decisions that save money and benefit the environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with potential residential customers through inbound/outbound leads, door-to-door, and local marketing efforts

• Provide detailed consultations, including solar system options, pricing, ROI estimates, and government rebates

• Educate customers about Victorian Solar Homes Program, STCs, feed-in tariffs, and any other applicable incentives

• Prepare and present compelling proposals to close sales

• Work closely with the installation and support team to ensure smooth project delivery

• Maintain CRM records and follow up with leads and prospects

• Stay updated with the latest solar industry trends, rebates, and policy changes

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in solar sales or renewable energy is highly desirable

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Confidence in presenting and explaining technical information in simple terms

• Self-driven and results-oriented with a passion for helping people

• Knowledge of government solar rebates and incentives in VIC is a strong advantage

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transport (preferred)
