Job Overview:
The Business Development Executive (BDE) specializing in in-house cold calling is responsible for
identifying and reaching out to potential clients for the company to generate new business
opportunities. This role focuses on lead generation, appointment setting, and initiating the sales
process through effective communication strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct outbound calls to potential clients to introduce company products/services and
generate interest.
Identify and qualify leads based on set criteria to ensure they align with the target customer
profile.
Schedule meetings or product demonstrations with interested leads for senior sales or
management teams.
Maintain accurate records of prospects, calls, interactions, and follow-ups in the CRM system.
Stay updated on company offerings to effectively communicate value propositions and answer
client queries.
Engage potential leads through follow-ups to ensure continuous interest and conversion.
Utilize pre-defined scripts and personalize conversations to ensure a positive customer
experience.
Work closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth transition from lead generation to formal
sales meetings.
Provide regular updates on outreach activities, conversion rates, and feedback trends to senior
management.
Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects to ensure trust and long-term
engagement.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
1-4 years in sales, telemarketing, or business development (cold calling experience is a plus).
Experience in the CBG, BioCNG, or water industry is an advantage but not mandatory.
Excellent verbal communication and ability to engage confidently with decision-makers.
Strong ability to convert potential clients through effective conversations.
Ability to handle rejection while staying motivated to achieve sales targets.
Driven by sales objectives with the ability to meet and exceed targets.
Ability to manage a high volume of calls and accurately track progress in CRM systems.
