Job Description

Job Summary:

The Sales Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the sales team by managing administrative tasks, coordinating sales activities, and ensuring seamless communication between customers, the sales team, and the manufacturing department. This position requires a strong understanding of the manufacturing industry, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Order Processing: Handle customer orders from order receipt to delivery. Ensure all information is accurate and orders are processed in a timely manner.

  • Customer Relationship Management: Serve as the first point of contact for customers. Respond to inquiries, provide product information, and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.

  • Sales Support: Provide administrative support to the sales team by preparing sales reports, tracking sales metrics, and assisting in the preparation of presentations and proposals.

  • Coordination with Manufacturing: Communicate order details, delivery schedules, and production requirements to the manufacturing team to ensure on-time production and delivery.

  • Inventory Management: Work closely with the inventory and logistics teams to ensure stock levels are accurate and products are available for sale.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all sales transactions, contracts, and customer interactions in the company’s CRM or sales management system.

  • Sales Reporting: Assist in preparing regular sales reports and updating sales performance metrics.

  • Complaint Resolution: Address customer complaints and concerns by working closely with the customer service and production teams to provide solutions.

  • Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to provide feedback to the sales and marketing teams.

  • Other Duties: Perform any other duties or tasks as assigned by the Sales Manager.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a sales support or coordination role, preferably within the manufacturing or industrial sector.

  • Skills:

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

    • Experience with CRM software and sales tracking tools.

    • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

    • Knowledge of the manufacturing process and supply chain management.

    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
