The Program Manager, Umeed, will be responsible for the following:
• Program management
o Prepare Umeed annual activity calendar with the help of Field Director and its implementation on
weekly and monthly basis
o Prepare weekly agenda
o Plan, execute, and conduct following program components
Education

Monitor adult literacy, computer literacy and vocational training program
Empowerment
▪
Plan workshops on different social schemes and identification documents
▪
Lead monthly meetings with women on various issues to create awareness
Health
▪
Oversee quarterly medical camps
▪
Refer women to medical field workers and follow up with cases
▪
Counsel women, as necessary
Outreach
▪
Enroll new women into Umeed
▪
Attend to women who visit AAWC center
▪
Conduct visits to AAWC other centers and community, as necessary
Management; HR & Admin
▪
Supervise volunteers and interns, as necessary
▪
Identify training opportunities for staff
▪
Develop job descriptions, conduct interviews, manage initiation process for program staff
• Documentation
o Writing programmatic narrative monthly and annual project impact reports
o Maintain and update key program records
o Fill up and oversee documentation in manual and electronic forms
o Photo documentation of activities
• Communications
o Minutes the internal and external communications
o Umeed related correspondence, to and from programs@aawc.in
o Communicate with stakeholders / partners
• Monitoring & Evaluation
o Maintain all monitoring & evaluation related to Umeed program, including attendance, medical, and
other reports
o Check subordinates’ monthly reports and provide its assessments
o Prepare and share Umeed monthly impact report with Field Director, F&C Manager Executive Director
o Prepare Umeed updates for AAWC quarterly/ half yearly staff meeting
o Periodical assessment of Umeed program and based on M&E Project reports, improvisation,
modification, expansion, identifying the scopes for new projects or the activities along with its
documentation.
