Logistics Manager

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and coordinate logistics activities, including transportation.

• Develop and implement strategies to optimize logistics operations, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.

• Manage and monitor the transportation and distribution of goods, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.

• Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and customers to establish and maintain strong relationships, negotiate contracts, and resolve any issues or disputes.

• Oversee the maintenance and management of logistics-related documentation, such as invoices, bills of lading, and customs documentation.

• Analyze data and logistics metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and cost-saving opportunities.

• Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations and standards related to logistics and transportation.

• Coordinate with internal teams, such as sales, procurement, and production, to ensure smooth coordination of logistics activities.

• Continuously evaluate and select logistics service providers, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships to ensure cost-effectiveness and high-quality services.

• Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in logistics and supply chain management.
