Job Summary:
The Sales Coordinator is responsible for supporting the sales team by managing schedules, processing orders, handling customer inquiries, and ensuring the smooth operation of sales activities. This role acts as a liaison between customers and the sales team to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the sales team in coordinating sales activities and ensuring seamless communication between departments.
Process sales orders, invoices, and maintain accurate customer records in the company’s CRM system.
Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing timely and accurate information.
Prepare sales reports, presentations, and maintain documentation related to sales transactions.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the supply chain or warehouse to ensure product availability.
Support marketing efforts by assisting in the preparation of promotional materials and events.
Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, preparing contracts, and tracking sales performance.
Collaborate with the finance and accounts team to ensure timely payments and resolve billing issues.
Identify opportunities to improve sales processes and customer experience.
Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and assist in on boarding new clients.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
Proven experience in sales coordination, customer service, or a similar role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required.
